How to Work with the Deck (the ritual)
Every card is a survival posture — a thing horror, fairy tale, and fiction have been trying to teach women all along. No card belongs to one woman; each holds a constellation of the last ones standing. You are one of them.
The deck is built in four Houses. Each one stands on a single doctrine — its pillar. The pillar card names the teaching that holds the House up; the ten cards that follow are the postures that branch from it.
1. Set your intention. Get quiet and ask yourself what wisdom or insight you need from the final girls. Perhaps you have a question or issue in mind. Sit now and direct your energy toward that intention.
2. Pull one card and walk the four beats in order. Read the Recognition. Do the Body cue before you decide what the card means — let the body answer first. Reflect and write on the Journal prompt, then carry the Integration into your week.
If the recognition stings — that's good. Resistance is the tell.
3. Read the Shadow when you're ready. Every survival tool can turn against the self. Read this when you feel like you need the medicine, poison, or tough love of the card.
4. Return to the cards you can't stop thinking about. These are the Final Girl traits you are being asked to absorb.
