A Writing Fiction to Heal™ Course

You're on the list.

The lantern is lit. Four films, four weeks, one map out of the house — and your seat is saved.

You were right. It was about you.

What happens next

In the next few weeks, a registration email will arrive from hello@jadeeby.com. It will contain information about the course start date and all other relevant information. You'll be given a priority link to enroll (and a surprise or two for your early interest!).

If you don't see any communications from me after a few weeks, check your spam/junk folder. If you still don't see any communication -- email me directly at hello@jadeeby.com

Recognition is the free part. Becoming is the work.

The map coming up.

Four weeks. Four films. Four stages. Each governed by one of the three pillar essays from The Bloody Key, each with its own Writing Fiction to Heal™ practice.

WEEK ONE

Naming what hunts you

The figure at the edge of the frame gets a name. What was formless becomes something you can write toward.

WEEK TWO

Recognizing what you inherited

The rules of the house. The story you were handed. We sort what is yours from what was assigned.

WEEK THREE

Refusing what isn't yours

The scene where she stops running the lie the story handed her. We write the refusal into form.

WEEK FOUR

Walking out of the house

Sometimes, walking out means walking back in. But this is the exit scene — put on the page in a form that can hold it.

Between now and registration

1

Watch for the signup email

It'll come with all the details you need to decide if you want to join the live cohort.

2

Choose a notebook you'll actually open

Paper or a document — whichever room the truth will fit in. You'll want it beside you when the films begin.

3

Download the Myth & Movies: Horror Edition workbook as prep

Want to get a jumpstart on some medicinal extraction? Download the Myth & Movies Workbook -- a free guide to how myth and movies work together to map out survival strategies.

A note on what this is — and isn't

This course is trauma-aware pedagogy. It is not therapy, and it does not replace professional mental health care. It is a place to decode the stories that were telling you something, and to put what you find on the page in a form that can hold it.

You don't need advice. You need a story.
